Configure Eternizer
The configuration is reachable in two ways. First, the install wizard leads you through it. Second, you can reach it by going to Eternizer's administration area and choose "Configuration" in the menu.
The configuration is seperated in three parts.
General
This rider contains miscellaneous settings.
- Entries per page
- Defines how many entries are shown on one page
- Order
- Defines in which order the entries appear. "Descending" means the youngest (newest) on top, "ascending" tho oldest on top.
- Spam check

Here you can choose whose entries are scanned for spam and what to do with spam messages.
- No means no processing
- All will check all users, inclusive registered
- Guests only will check only entries posted by guests
- Moderate will only moderate spam entries
- Reject will block spam entries
- Moderate
- Defines whether posts will set to "moderated" for default. Guests only will only moderate guest's entries; All users will moderate all entries.
- Enforce use of profile data
- Registered users will not be able to change their data take from their profile
Long words processing
Here you can define how to deal with very long (dummy) words which may break the layout.
- Action

What to do?
- no: Don't process
- truncate: Truncate these long words
- wrap: Insert a space character. This will cause the browser to break the line.
- Maximal length
- The maximal length of the word without processing
- Length after processing
- The word will be shorted to this length after processing (respectively will be wrapped after this length)
Profile
Here you can set up the dynamic profile.
The Title field is the field which is used in the head line of an entry. This allows to change it without change the template.
In the table below the profile can be configured. Each line is build identical.
- Order
- You can edit the order by sort them via drag and drop. Click on the arrow cross at the line's beginning and move.
- ID
- This is the internal used id. It's the name of the field in the profile array.
- Title
- Label of the field. Can be a language define, too.
- Type
- The type of the field (at the moment: name, email address, URL and text whereas text fields are all not passing to the types before).
- Mandatory
- Defines whether field is mandatory to all, anonymous users (guests) or optional
- Equivalent in Profile
- What field is the equivalent in the Profile module. Used for preset the formula for registered users.
- Action
- The icon with the red line within two white will remove the field.
