Import from other Modules

With Eternizer's import functionality the change to Eternizer from an other Guestbook module is done in a few seconds.

The import is supported from the following modules:

• Guestbook V. 1.0 (latest) by Smiatek (http://www.smiatek.com/)
• postguestbook V. 0.6.1 (latest) by Peter Schübl (http://postguestbook.sourceforge.net/)
• pnBook V. 0.2b (latest) by Philipp Niethammer, the predecessor of Eternizer

To run the import both, Eternizer and the module you want to import from must be installed and activated on the system. Then go to the administration and choose Import in the menu. All supported modules are listed there. Choose the module you want to start from and press Continue.

On the following page you can specify what to do.

• Import configuration of the old module
• Import data i.e. the entries
• Deactivate the old module
• Delete the old module (which means deactivate it too for sure)

Then finish the import process by pressing Import.

At the moment Hook data cannot be imported!
