Moderate functionality

A new feature in Eternizer is that you can set entries as "moderated". Moderated entries are saved in the database but not visible in the default view but only in the admin view.

Spam protection

Someone comming from pnBook will maybe miss spam protection functionality. It's right, Eternizer does not have any antispam methods anymore. Instead, it uses external modules to do so. In the future it will use spamFree. Until spamFree is in a stable version, Eternizer will scan by the Akismet module if spamFree is not available. Simply install the module.

To learn how to configure the spam protection, see Configure Eternizer.

Using the admin view

When there is many moderation work (e.g. spam) the admin view speed this up since you can handle with multiple entries at once and it is reduced to the most important informations. From here you can

  • see all entries at once in a short view
  • see moderated entries
  • delete/moderate/activate several entries at once
  • edit/delete/moderate/activate single entries
